This is a part from "Roman Holiday" when Audrey Hepburn tries to put her hand
in the mouth of truth but is afraid to since she is hiding her identity.
The movie Roman Holiday is a romantic but comedic film about two people that cannot have a relationship due to their fate. Audrey Hepburn is a runaway princess and Gregory Peck is a reporter. The film could not have taken place anywhere else because the movie showed many cultural landmarks of Rome such as the Trevi Fountain and “The Mouth of Truth”. Also Hepburn and Peck go on a romantic cruise through Rome on a Vespa scooter, which is a motorcycle company born in Italy and designed motorcycles to fit the city streets of Italy. In addition Hepburn and peck also visit the “The Mouth of Truth” which is a monument that is said to bite the hand of a liar off. Here Peck pulls a prank on Hepburn that brings the two closer together. By these two critical scenes the two characters fall in love, moving the plot along. Therefore if had the setting been different, the plot of the story would have to be re-thought.
